Patient should
bring all medications to Interview with the Manager. It is best to bring in
the medications to minimize any mistakes or information recorded.
A detailed medical history or if referred by a medical professional, a copy
of the patient file is extremely useful and may save the additional costs of
testing and acquiring appropriate background information.
Spouses, parents, relations, or friends are always invited to accompany the
patient. It is not unusual for these interested parties to assist in
financial arrangements until the patient gets back on their feet and back to
work. Often times this is the only way a patient can start treatment and get
back to work in a stabilized condition.
There are many sources for help if explored diligently and the patient has a
sincere desire to stop any form of substance abuse. If it is "In Your Heart"
to quite there is always a way to make treatment services work effectively
and affordably. With a co-signer, treatment services can be spread out up to
one year.
An open and honest dialogue is also important. Winter Park Recovery Center's treatment team is
interested in a successful outcome and cooperation is essential in getting
on the correct path to recovery.
